James N. Miller (right), President of Miller Parking Company, was born in Detroit in 1953. He graduated with honors from Detroit Country Day School in 1971 and received his bachelors degree with distinction in economics from the University of Michigan in 1975. Mr. Miller graduated Wayne State University Law School in 1978 and is a current member of the Michigan Bar as well as a licensed real estate broker.

Mr. Miller has worked in the parking business since 1965. He has participated in the development of numerous parking lots and garages in and around downtown Detroit and Chicago. He directs all financial, IT, sales, legal, and operational activities for Miller Parking Company entities.  He is on the Board of Directors of the National Parking Association, as was his father and grandfather before him.  Mr. Miller is married and has three children (and one son-in-law, 2'nd from left) and has lived for 31 years in Huntington Woods, Michigan.
